We don t know whether Bathsheba just submitted to a man in authority, if she was a willing participant in adultery after David called for her or if she was enticing David knowing he could see her bathing. In the Scripture David is the focus of this story. Scripture definitely says David sinned and his confession is found in Ps. 32 and 51. Both of them suffered when the child died. Their son, Solomon was the one who became the next king. God can use us even if we fall.
